Under the audit conducted by the UN and the Global Compact, the Rentabiliweb Group undertakes at a local level to resolve the constraints which must be overcome by 2015 to reach the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by:
- Participating in enriching the Belgium Local Network database. This system for sharing online data links the companies engaged in the Global Compact to help them communicate on the solutions which they provide in terms of sustainable development. This exchange platform is made up of some 90 local networks across the world, spotlighting statistics and case examples on the governance of the network and on the activities implemented.
- Being subject to an in-depth study on its capacities to observe the principles of responsible and sustainable management. This study aims to synchronise companies, decision-makers and NGOs on sustainability issues, highlighting the way in which they can work together to better to meet common goals. (UNGC/Accenture)
- Committing to establish partnerships with non-profit entities (public and private) to implement programmes which serve local interests. The implementation of these partnerships consists in facilitating an environment which is favourable to corporate strategies promoting development in the countries in which they are established.
- Making progress in the understanding of engagement during the meetings organised by the council (UNGC) or how to best integrate the monitoring of environmental, social and governance issues in the agenda.
