Frank Esser joins the Rentabiliweb Board of Directors

Frank Esser was appointed as a member of the Rentabiliweb Board of Directors by the General Shareholders’ Meeting of 16 May 2012. This meeting also approved his appointment as member of the Audit Committee and of the Remuneration Committee, and as an Independent Director, with immediate effect.

Frank Esser spent 12 years as CEO of SFR (10,039 employees in 2011), during which SFR took over Neuf Télécom. Mr Esser made an active contribution to the growth of the group, which became the second-largest French telephone operator (personal and business customers) under his management, as well as one of the leading European providers of mobile telephony, Internet and IP telephony services.

Frank Esser has been involved in the telecommunications sector for over 20 years. He has played an active role in the development and consolidation of the industry at European level. He previously held positions as Senior Vice President, International Operations at Mannesmann and as Vice President of Quickfunk, a joint venture between Mannesmann and Motorola.

M. Frank Esser holds a PhD in business administration from Cologne University. He is a member of the Vodafone Germany Supervisory Board and is a Chevalier of the Légion d’honneur.

Frank Esser’s appointment completes the Board of Directors chaired by Jean-Baptiste Descroix-Vernier. The other members are Corinne Chatal, the Rentabiliweb Group Managing Director and Human Resources Director, Thibaut Faurès Fustel de Coulanges, Vice President, Jean-Marie Messier, Eric Licoys and Gilles Lioret.
